DIRECTIONS to Eddie's Farm (see the Map page) Eddie's farm is located at 41314 N. 2000 E. in Hoopeston, phone 217-339-2375. FROM HOOPESTON: Drive approximately five miles east on Route 9. Cross the railroad tracks and pass the Cheneyville road. One-quarter mile past (east of) the Cheneyville road turn left (look for silver-colored grain bins on the right side). Eddie's house is the first on the left. There will be signs posted for the big event.

Public Accommodations near Hoopeston, Illinois In addition to staying with relatives or camping at the farm, travellers can make arrangements at one of these motels. For some motels, the office is only staffed during certain parts of the day. Try afternoon or evening. Danville is about 25 minutes south from Eddie's, and Watseka is 25 minutes north. Camping If possible, call ahead to get details on camping space. There will be camping at Eddie's farm. Also, Emily Layden Carter offers accommodation for the Layden2000 reunion.
